With its two pubs and local shop, this pretty village provides a great base for exploring lovely Somerset. There's plenty to see and do to suit all tastes and ages, including an energetic walk to the top of nearby Cheddar Gorge to view the amazing caves or a more relaxing trip to see the fabulous attractions at Wookey Hole. A visit to the lovely cathedral city of Wells is recommended, whilst slightly further afield but within easy driving distance is the delightful coast at Weston-super-Mare and the Tor and Abbey at Glastonbury. From scenic walks across the nearby Mendip Hills to exploring Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Wells Cathedral and even the coast at Weston-super-Mare, there's plenty to see and do at any time of the year.
